As a volunteer photographer for Ithaca Underground, I captured the raw energy and emotion of live performances, bringing the music to life through dynamic and expressive images. My role involved photographing various shows, focusing on the passion of the artists, the atmosphere of the venue, and the interaction between musicians and the audience. I aimed to visually translate the essence of each genre, from punk to experimental, creating a powerful visual narrative that celebrated the diversity and intensity of the local music scene. This experience honed my ability to work in fast-paced environments and connect with the music through my lens.
